JOEL LANDAU

Co-founder & Managing Partner

An energetic and engaged business leader, Joel Landau is the co-founder and managing director of Pinta Capital Partners, an equity firm that aims to provide lasting value to its network of investors and the healthcare establishments in which it invests. 

Landau has a proven success record in creating companies that improve both healthcare delivery and insurance processes for health plans, their members, and their provider partners.  Alongside David Harrington, a highly experienced healthcare executive who shared in his vision, Joel Landau formed Pinta Capital Partners in 2012. The group seeks ventures that serve New York City’s neediest populations, including the chronically ill, the elderly, and the disabled.

​Pinta Capital Partners harvests advances in medicine and technology and takes a holistic approach to healthcare delivery. The equity firm has three key major goals: greater access for all patients, higher quality of life, and more cost-effective care. Working towards these goals benefits both the target populations and the healthcare establishments alike.

 

 

 

DAVID HARRINGTON

Co-founder & Managing Partner

Mr. Harrington brings 35 years of increasingly responsible and successful experience in  critical areas of healthcare delivery management. His particular interest lies in identifying and implementing key IS/IT initiatives that differentiate the enterprise and offer expanded efficiencies and savings to customers Mr. Harrington's success is rare among senior healthcare managers.  He has held executive positions at AETNA, UnitedHealthcare, Columbia/HCA, and Physician Quality Care.

As CEO of American Imaging Management (AIM) from 2001 to 2008, Mr. Harrington turned around this radiology management business from minimal EBITDA and a negative net worth of $19M, grew the EBITDA to over $30M, and increased the net worth to $350M.  In August 2007,  AIM was sold to WellPoint for $307M. In 2009, Mr. Harrington established.

DASH Business Group as a business advisory and development firm to early stage healthcare companies Mr. Harrington earned his graduate degree from Columbia University and undergraduate degree from Boston College.

CALEB DESROSIERS

Managing Director

Caleb DesRosiers has an extensive background in healthcare regulation, public policy and reimbursement. An attorney at law, Mr. DesRosiers is currently Executive Vice President and General Counsel of CareMed Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. Prior to joining CareMed in 2015, Mr. DesRosiers worked as Counsel, Health Care Regulatory and Government Practice for the law practice of Foley Hoag LLP. Mr. DesRosiers has also served as Special Assistant for Regulatory Affairs, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Since 2012, Mr. DesRosiers has held the post of Strategic Advisor and outside counsel as a healthcare venture partner with Mansa Capital.

Mr. DesRosiers is a member of the Board of Governors and Finance Committee of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Vice-Chair of Affinity Health Plan (a Medicaid health plan in the Bronx), a member of the Business Advisory Board of PrimeVax Immunotherapy, as well as the Leadership Advisory Council of the Primary Care Development Corporation.

Mr. DesRosiers holds a Bachelor of Arts from Suffolk University, and a J.D., MPA, from Suffolk University Law School and Graduate School of Government Management in Boston. He was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts in 1999.
